Corvesta, Inc. Announces New President & CEO, Frank Lucia

ROANOKE, Va.—(October 9, 2017)—Corvesta, Inc. announced today that Frank Lucia will serve as the organization’s new president and chief executive officer, effective November 13, 2017. Lucia succeeds George A. Levicki, who is retiring after 36 years of distinguished service.

Lucia was president and chief executive officer of Dean Health Plan in Madison, Wisconsin.

“We are excited to have Frank Lucia as our next president and CEO,” said Tom Byrd, chairman of Corvesta, Inc. Board of Directors. “His leadership experience, health and dental plan expertise and business acumen make him a good fit to grow Corvesta’s success.”

Levicki, who announced his impending retirement in March 2017, will work with Lucia to ensure a smooth transition and will be available as an advisor to the Company.

 “The entire board thanks George for his leadership of the Corvesta Enterprise,” Byrd continued. “During his tenure, he has transformed a fledgling dental insurance company that started in his predecessor’s garage and created a dynamic, multi-faceted organization that is well poised for the future.”

Lucia is an experienced health and dental insurance and business leader. Prior to serving in a variety of leadership roles at Dean Health Plan, he gained a broad range of relevant experience working for Price Waterhouse, WR Grace, Inc. and CIGNA Corporation, including Cigna Dental. 

Lucia earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Binghamton University and his master’s degree of business administration from the University of Miami.

Corvesta Appoints Hari Pulijal as Chief Information Officer

ROANOKE, Va.—(August 22, 2017)—Corvesta, Inc. is pleased to announce that Hari Pulijal has been appointed as chief information officer effective June 12, 2017. In this role, he will lead all aspects of Corvesta’s information technology divisions and products.

“Hari is an innovative software technology executive with decades of experience driving successful teams and developing high-value products,” said Stacy Campbell, Corvesta’s vice president of strategy and business development. “His leadership and analytical skills will benefit the Corvesta Enterprise greatly as we continue our growth and dedication to advancing oral health.”

Pulijal brings more than 25 years of IT leadership experience to Corvesta with a vision for digital transformation. Prior to his new role, Pulijal served as vice president of product development at GE Digital-Meridium in Roanoke for 12 years. At Meridium, he was responsible for enterprise software application development, mobile development, a new user interface for migration to SaaS and managing global development through off-shore teams. He has also held leadership positions at AT&T Bell Labs, HP Labs, Novell Labs and i2 Technologies.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications from the University College of Engineering – Osmania University and a Master of Computer Science and Engineering from Rutgers University.

Revolv Earns First Place in the Top Contact Center Contest from BenchmarkPortal

Roanoke, Va. (March 9, 2017) Revolv, a leading dental benefits administration and health informatics company, earned first place in the Top Contact Center award for 2017 from BenchmarkPortal.  The Top Contact Centers contest is recognized as the premier call center contest in North America.
